Exquisite Décor Designs is a full service enterprise born out of extensive talents, experiences, and education in residential and commercial interior and decor designs since 1993. This experience makes us well versed in managing all aspects of client projects to a "WOW Factor" completion. Each Individual design is tailored to meet our valuable client's vision and expectations and we process this through a disciplined focus on achieving outstanding results. Presenting a strong view on unparalleled client satisfaction, we guide you through the design stages from color selection to art, wall dressing, flooring, furniture styles, lighting, window decor, space planning, fabric textures and much more. At Exquisite Décor Designs we believe "time" is the most valuable commodity our clients and prospects hold and we are passionate about protecting that whilst they make their decorating and design decisions. Decorating and design projects can be daunting, frustrating, and overwhelming; our purpose is to alleviate all the concerns that come with such endeavors and make the process "Fun for You!".

About Kobby

Kobby Akuffo, an award winning professional designer, moved to Chicago from London, England in 2005. As he puts it, "I fell in love with the architecture here on one of my holidays in 2000 and decided to make this place home, I finally moved here in 2005". With over fifteen years experience in the home furnishing industry, he worked within senior management for one of U.K's leading better furniture manufacturers. Since arriving in the United States, Kobby worked as a Design Manager for the Chicago Furniture Group, an affiliate of Bassett Furniture Industries from 2006 through 2008, until he was offered to join Decor and You, an Interior Decorating and Design Franchise with it's headquarters in Connecticut. He worked from their design studio in Schaumburg, Illinois for about eight months and then decided to start his own enterprise , with input from clients past and present.
"I want to bring something to my clients homes and environments that enriches their life's and it starts with the foundation of knowing who they are and what makes them smile. Its all about the experiences they go through from conception to the 'REVEAL."
Kobby views the home as the "travel log of our journey through life". The decor, objects and furnishings all tell a story of the ones we've loved, the people we've met, places we've been, the accomplishments achieved and the lifestyle we embrace.
