Kay's Residence - Living Room / Lounge Design
We had a beautiful but difficult to decorate living room. We had made it through the little kid years when our living room housed drum sets, play tables, and old sofas. When I wanted to go upscale, I called Kobby.
I had an idea but didn't know how to translate it into a room design. The concept was to create a space where people could meet and socialize in a cozy yet interesting and visually exciting space. When I thought of the type of space, I thought of the author, Gertrude Stein, and her salon in Paris which was a mecca for artists and writers in the 1920's. Gertrude Stein wrote "A rose is a rose is a rose..." and other convoluted poetry and prose. Her salon was the hang out for people like Picasso, Hemingway, F. Scott Fitzgerald, and other notables. So I told Kobby, let's create a salon like that! He did the research and we were off!
"Kobby came back with a great design that was exciting, comfortable, and affordable. We now have a salon/lounge style that has a lot of seating, yet has cozy areas for conversation. I also have a lounge where my dog and I like to sit and read (I read, the dog sits). Kobby's design is so organic and inviting that the dog automatically goes to that lounge and jumps on up when he is allowed in the room. So, the design speaks...even to our dog!"

Dan & Maria's Residence - Basement Remodel
Dan and Maria live a modern lifestyle and needed a basement renovation that will accommodate family functions and overnight or long stays'.
The project had a designated space of 1500 sq. foot and required a new bedroom, play area, a multitasking and fully functional kitchen, dining area, family room, bathroom and storage space to accommodate some fine art.
The design needed to exude a sense of radiance and warmth

They wanted a kitchen that looked airy, clean and classic just for entertaining to fit their multi-million dollar home.

Kay's Residence - Family Room
My client needed a design for their family room in their gorgeous Tudor home set on a golf course. The design had to reflect her dutch heritage however elegant and functional for the family to enjoy.

Bob & Julie's Residence - Interior Decor
Bob and Julie, wanted a warm, functional and modern look for their home. The project involved a re-modernization of their living room, dining room , kitchen, master bedroom, master bath and entryway. Their favourite colours were earth and warm tones and needed a design with some flexibility and a flow through out the home
